This was the furthest point I had to go along the staithes to get the pictures I needed.
It was a bit windy and chilly and I felt a little unsafe with my
little 35mm camera. God knows how the crew felt bringing those big
movie cameras on here.
Note the four chimneys of Blyth Power Station in the background, two
450ft and two 550ft.
They were torn down in December 2003 in what
was thought to be Britain's biggest ever synchronised demolishing
and video from that day
